Our project management services allow you to pass a complete set of activities to us, thus freeing you from the hassles or problems that are invariably encountered in trying to complete them. This service is fully open-ended – no two projects are exactly alike - but would typically include:
- Liaison with authors – briefing, chasing, receipt of sample materials, reviewing, etc
- Liaison with editorial/typesetting suppliers, as well as packaging and duplication companies
- Liaison with your staff – ensuring that the evolving product meets all of a client’s needs.
Beyond these services, we are able to become as fully involved as you wish: effectively, to become your outsourced publishing facility. We can find and brief authors, or liaise with a range of training and course providers if you need to develop a suite of materials or training.
We are able to find and/or liaise with, all relevant allied services, such as the creation of complex artwork, proofing or indexing – all provided by experts in their field.
And of course we can ensure that all print components of a set of training materials blend perfectly with, for example, any web-based or CBT materials or face-to-face training which a client may also be developing.
The fundamental aspect of project management is to ensure that a client’s work is not just ‘completed’, but completed to client satisfaction. This entails the material being completed:
- To schedule
- To budget
- To specification.
